"Long Way to Paradise" contains songs from a special one-off fan night concert staged in London and other rare tracks. The London gig contains the hit singles "At the Edge," and "Tin Soldiers," while the other tracks include unplugged versions of SLF classics demos and another version of "Alternative Ulster" recorded at their 1993 St. Patrick's Day gig at Glasgow Barrowlands with a guest appearance from The Almighty frontman Ricky Warwick.
